Play music files wont download

Re: mp3 internet files won't play Click Start = My Computer = Tools = Folder options = Click on the tab File Types = Wait for the list to load then find MP3 = Click on MP3 and click Change = Set it to open with Windows Media Player and then tick the box to always open with this program. The app is requiring me to have an internet connection, even if I want to play music in "offline" mode. This is very troubling since I fly and use the subway all the time and lose internet connection quite frequently. When I try to play a track, it'll just get stuck at until I get some sort of an internet connection again.
